What is a supervised visitation?

What is a supervised exchange?

Supervised Visitation is contact between children and their non-custodial parent in the presence of a neutral third party. The visitation provider has the capacity and training to enforce the court order and required safety measures. Supervised visitation may be ordered to minimize conflict between parents and to support the development of parenting skills and maintaining healthy parent-child relationships.

Supervised exchange provides a safe and secure environment for the transfer of children between parents. Exchanges are done on-site for families who require and/or would benefit from exchanging the children without parental interaction.

How do you get started?

*Before visits or exchanges are scheduled, each parent must separately attend an intake interview. At the interview, we will gather background information on the family situation and review the court orders.

*Our agency will conduct orientation for each child before the first visit to help them feel comfortable.
